Miniature Card - left to be found

Miniature postcard that Bray arranged to be found at Chudleigh Rocks in Devon. It is not known whether Bray left it there himself or arranged for a friend to do so. He was probably hoping that the card would be posted back as it was with a Chudleigh postmark. This failed on both counts, it was returned in an envelope, complete with rhyming message, posted in London.

It was left on 23rd August 1898 and returned on 17th September.
