Fictitious Address
Postcard sent by Bray to Ernest Arnold on 31st December 1898.
The message on the back asks that Arnold redirect the card to Bray at Stanstead Villa, Forest Saw Mills, Yorks. Bray signed off the message Dick Mizzle to mask his part in this mischief.
The card was returned to Bray annotated with three instructional marks indicating the it was "Insufficiently Addressed" and an accompanying 1/2d. charge mark.
Bray's main aim of acquiring a Forest Saw Mills postmark failed, it was returned from York on 5th January 1899.
