Sent to various Post Offices around Britain

Postcard sent by Bray to The Postmaster, Dolgelly, Gwynedd on 3rd April 1899.

Bray constructed both sides of the card to facilitate the onward forwarding to a further four Postmasters before finally coming back to Forest Hill. In addition to the original 1/2d stamp a further two postage stamps were applied at various stages.

The Postmaster at Jedburgh was not amused by the fact that he had to pay a 1d. charge to receive the card and wrote a message requesting reimbursement.
