Illegal stamp

Sent by Ernest Arnold to Bray on 23rd January 1900

Arnold cut out an embossed revenue stamp from an item of Canadian postal stationery, and tried to use it to pay the postage.

Amazingly he got away with it and, even more so. Bray also managed to send it back to Arnold on 14th November 1901.
