Thrown into the sea inside a pickle bottle

Postcard cast into the sea by Bray during August 1900.

The bottle was thrown into the water off Ireland and found by Jacob Bradley on 1st October on Bootle shore opposite the Selker Lightship.

Also shown is the envelope used by Bradley to acknowledge receit of the postal order offered by Bray for the return of the card.
