Autograph request

Picture postcard sent by Bray to Rear-Admiral Richard Poore CVO, HMS Albemarle, Admiralty Office, London on 29th June 1907 asking for his autograph.

Poore was promoted to the rank of Rear-Admiral on 30 August, 1903, vice Holland.

On the occasion of the visit of the French fleet to Britain Poore was appointed a Commander of the Royal Victorian Order (C.V.O.) on 11 August, 1905.

Poore was promoted to the rank of Vice-Admiral on 1 March, 1907.
