Postcard sent by Bray to James Brackley on 15th April 1907 asking for his autograph.

James Brackley (born 1836) was a Private in the 80th (Staffordshire Volunteers) Foot during the time of the Indian Mutiny for which he was awarded the Indian Mutiny Medal. He also fought at Onna, Beada, Dandiccera and Ferozeshah (under Sir Colin Campbell). An accompanying letter from his daughter states that he was suffering from bad eyesight and a badly ulcerated leg.
